Description

The Allied Healthcare MCV200 Portable Ventilator is a versatile, multi-powered device designed to deliver reliable respiratory support in emergency situations, mass casualty incidents, and patient transport scenarios. Its robust construction and flexible power options make it an essential tool for healthcare providers operating in diverse environments.

Key Features:

  • Multiple Power Sources: The MCV200 operates using compressed oxygen (50 psi), an internal rechargeable 12V DC battery, standard AC power (115 to 230 VAC; 50 to 60 Hz), or an optional external battery pack, ensuring functionality even in resource-limited settings.
  • Adjustable Ventilation Parameters: Users can set tidal volumes ranging from 200 to 1200 mL, select inspiratory times of 1.0 or 2.0 seconds, and adjust breathing rates between 8 to 28 breaths per minute, allowing customization to patient needs.
  • Assist-Control Mode: The ventilator includes an assist-control feature that triggers at less than -2 cm H₂O, accommodating patients capable of spontaneous breathing.
  • Airway Pressure Relief and Alarms: An adjustable airway pressure relief mechanism (5 to 80 cm H₂O) and integrated alarms for high and low airway pressures enhance patient safety by providing immediate feedback and alerts during operation.
  • Durable and Portable Design: Weighing approximately 17.2 lbs (7.8 kg) and constructed with a weather-resistant ABS plastic enclosure, the MCV200 is built to withstand harsh conditions while remaining portable for field use.

The MCV200's capability to function without electrical power, relying solely on a compressed gas source, makes it particularly valuable in disaster response and mass casualty events where power resources may be compromised.
