Course Overview

This course focuses on developing communication skills for biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs) in healthcare settings. Students will learn to build client relationships, effectively convey technical information to non-technical customers, and handle patient interactions with professionalism and empathy. The curriculum covers communication barriers, the importance of written documentation, non-verbal communication, and conflict resolution strategies. Through practical applications, students will enhance their ability to communicate effectively and professionally in healthcare.
