Course Overview
The Ventilator Systems Training is a hybrid learning program designed to equip students with a solid understanding of the principles, operation, and maintenance of medical ventilators. The course begins with an engaging online component that introduces essential concepts such as respiratory physiology, ventilator modes, alarm systems, terminology, and safety protocols. This instructor led online portion allows students to build a strong theoretical foundation and become familiar with the various types of ventilators used in clinical environments.
Once the online coursework is complete, students will advance to an instructor-led, hands-on performance lab. During this phase, they will apply their knowledge through practical exercises including ventilator setup, functional testing, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs. The hybrid structure ensures that participants are well-prepared to handle real-world situations, enhancing their technical proficiency and confidence when working with life-sustaining ventilator systems in healthcare settings.
